Our project aims to provide primary school students with activities that will develop creative thinking skills and hand skills that will provide emotional relaxation as well as academic skills. Our students, who have never taken a needle and thread in their hands and have never gone beyond cutting and gluing activities with scissors, will be able to design a material item, buckle ornaments by using their creativity. They will have the opportunity to get to know themselves with the materials they produce with their own hand labor and will have the opportunity to develop their self-confidence and experience the joy of creating something. In addition, it is aimed to provide different skills to the students in the project by inviting those who have hand skills from the parents of the students in the project to the classroom. By trying to introduce hand skills that reflect our national cultural elements in our society to our students, aesthetic sensitivity and creativity will be developed and interdisciplinary learning will be provided.
