The Forest and Us: Exploring the Benefits and Care of Forests

This project aims to raise awareness about the vital role of forests in our lives, focusing on their ecological, social, and health benefits. Participants will learn how forests support biodiversity, regulate climate, and enhance well-being. The project will highlight how forests improve air quality, reduce climate change impacts, and provide spaces for recreation and mental health. Through workshops, field trips, and hands-on activities, participants will gain practical experience in sustainable forest management, aligned with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The project will emphasize responsible forestry practices that balance human needs with environmental protection. Participants will also explore how working in forests benefits human health by promoting physical activity, reducing stress, and improving mental clarity. The project aims to inspire young people to appreciate forests and take an active role in their conservation and sustainable use, developing a sense of environmental responsibility for both local and global ecosystems.
