The project Exploring the World of Transportation - a Journey into Knowledge and Innovation is an educational initiative aimed at bringing together students from schools with creative visions on a fascinating journey into the world of transportation. The purpose of this project is to encourage students to develop and shape research, mediation, and argumentation skills, capacities, and abilities through discovery, exploration, and interdisciplinary/transdisciplinary collaboration, focusing on the theme of transportation. The approach encompasses the following subjects: Romanian Language and Literature, English Language, French Language, Geography, Biology, Physics, Physical Education, Chemistry, History, Mathematics, Technical Drawing, Technical Diagnostics, and Automobiles. The project will thus shape a holistic inter/transdisciplinary approach to the proposed theme, Exploring the World of Transportation - A Journey into Knowledge and Innovation, within the context of our daily need for means of transportation. This project aims to acquire/explore new knowledge on this subject and to change students' mindset regarding their attitude towards the usefulness of knowledge in a particular discipline and towards cross-border and international cooperation. This is dedicated to students in order to develop key competencies specific to the disciplines included in the project, with a strong focus on research, collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, and digital and media literacy skills. They will understand the importance of innovation in the field of transportation and will be encouraged to become active players in developing avant-garde solutions for the future of mobility. An innovation would also be the blend of the Project-based learning method with that of the Flipped Classroom, aiming to generate an integrated and dynamic approach in Education. Exploring the World of Transportation - a Journey into Knowledge and Innovation will strengthen the connections between schools, promoting intercultural understanding and facilitating the exchange of information and experiences among participating students. The project will contribute to shaping a generation of young individuals who are aware and engaged in sustainable development and innovations in the field of transportation.
