The Evolution of Entertainment

Entertainment has always been essential part of human civilisation. The earliest forms of entertainment date back to the Stone age where people used to paint in the caves. In Neolithic Age would gather around the fire and create instruments from bones. In Ancient Age telling stories, singing songs, or dancing to pass the time. The evolution of entertainment has been rapid and continuous with the use of television and the internet nowadays. Students will dive deep into the content by researching and exploring the evolution of entertainment from antiquity to modern times. They will explore the cultural significance of toys and games, how they reflect the values, beliefs, and traditions of different countries and how people passed on their cultural values and traditions and history from one generation to another. They will have the opportunity to collaborate with students from all around Europe to compare and find similarities in the evolution of entertainment in different countries.
