As ecological and environmental issues are becoming more and more important in today's society, raising environmental awareness among the younger generation is essential. In the face of growing global climate problems and the waste crisis, it is essential to shape children's habits from an early age, so that they understand the impact their actions have on the environment. STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) activities provide opportunities to develop children's environmental responsibility through creativity and science. Combining these activities with storytelling can create an attractive and engaging way of learning for children that not only stimulates creativity but also provides knowledge about waste segregation, sustainability and nature conservation. The project "Environmental Heroes: Creating STEAM Stories and Sorting the Future through Puppet Theater and STEAM Activities" aims to combine creativity and science by inviting children to become environmental heroes. By creating stories and participating in STEAM activities, children learn how to sort waste, protect nature and understand the importance of the environment. This project offers a unique educational experience where children not only create and recreate stories, but also learn about nature conservation and sustainability through hands-on activities, thus becoming responsible global citizens. Šiandieninėje visuomenėje ekologijos ir aplinkosaugos klausimai tampa vis svarbesni, todėl ugdyti jaunosios kartos sąmoningumą apie aplinkos apsaugą yra būtina. Didėjant globalioms klimato problemoms ir atliekų krizei, būtina formuoti vaikų įpročius nuo mažens, kad jie suprastų, kokią įtaką jų veiksmai turi gamtai. STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) veiklos suteikia galimybes per kūrybiškumą ir mokslą plėtoti vaikų ekologinį atsakingumą. Derinant šias veiklas su pasakų kūrimu, galima sukurti vaikams patrauklų ir įtraukiantį mokymosi būdą, kuris ne tik skatina kūrybiškumą, bet ir suteikia žinių apie atliekų rūšiavimą, tvarumą ir gamtos apsaugą. Projektas „Aplinkos herojai: kuriame pasakas ir rūšiuojame ateitį per lėlių teatrą ir STEAM veiklas“/ "Environmental Heroes: Creating STEAM Stories and Sorting the Future through Puppet Theater" siekia sujungti kūrybą ir mokslą, kviesdamas vaikus tapti aplinkos herojais. Kuriant pasakas ir tuo pačiu dalyvaujant STEAM veiklose, vaikai mokosi, kaip rūšiuoti atliekas, saugoti gamtą ir suprasti aplinkosaugos svarbą. Šis projektas siūlo unikalią edukacinę patirtį, kur vaikai ne tik kuria, bei atkuria istorijas, bet ir per praktines veiklas sužino apie gamtos išsaugojimą bei tvarumą, taip tapdami atsakingais pasaulio piliečiais.
