Earthquake Risk in @ction

Earthquakes are among the most destructive natural hazards affecting several European regions. This project aims to raise students’ awareness of seismic risks, help them understand the geological causes of earthquakes, analyze their human and material consequences, and learn appropriate safety behavior in case of emergency. Through this collaborative project, students will: • Study the seismic reality of their region and partner regions; • Understand plate tectonics and seismic activity; • Analyze past disasters; • Propose solutions for better prevention and preparedness. Project outcomes (interactive maps, videos, safety guides, models, quizzes) will help students develop scientific, digital, linguistic, and civic skills while building a shared risk-awareness culture across Europe.
