DOĞANIN İÇİNDEN MATEMATİK(MATHEMATICS FROM NATURE)

The aim of our project is to develop mathematical skills with objects in nature, to learn by doing, to increase mathematical skills in our students by using recycling materials, and to create environmental awareness. The preschool period is a period in which the child, who has just begun to explore the world with curiosity and excitement, acquires many important skills. The education given during this period will affect the child's sociological, psychological, cognitive or mental development and will be reflected in his adulthood. Mathematics education is one of the education that the child must receive in order to effectively support his development in the pre-school period, when he begins to recognize, question and explore his environment. In the preschool period, children learn by experiencing the world around them through their senses. They then reinforce these experiences by repeating them with games or toys. Mathematics becomes a very important element at this point. Children who receive effective mathematics education in the preschool period also receive help from mathematics while developing their skills and abilities. Problem-solving, reasoning or cause-effect relationships offered by mathematics support the development of children's abilities in the most effective way. Thanks to the project, our students will discover mathematics together with nature at an early age. They will make mathematics fun with concrete activities such as addition, counting, symmetry, design and patterns, using materials found in nature.
