Students find synonyms to the words "Hello", "Thank you", "Please" and "Goodbye" in their native language and write them down. Some words are formal, some informal. They also put down slang words. Then students make short videos where they say these words with the right pronunciation. Partner students explore the words and videos in different languages and make their own videos. After that they give feedback. During the project students also design logos and Christmas cards, create comics, and find similarities in different languages. In the end the partners create a common e-book (Storyjumper), have a web meeting, and give feedback.
