'Countdown to the Tokyo Olympics 202Ꝋ … 2021' will be continuation of the successful project in 2019-20. It will encourage collaboration between students and their teachers, developing creative language and ICT skills. The project will be based on monthly activities from September 2020 to May 2021, including introducing school and country, understanding the Olympic values, the impact of Climate Change on the Games, explaining democratic participation, , finding out about the Ancient and Modern Olympics, learning about Japan, researching famous Olympians and predicting future Olympic medallists and taking part in some e-sports between project schools and celebrating with an online medal ceremony! In the 2020-21 Project, it is expected that a smaller number of schools will participate, but this will enable greater interaction and collaboration between partner students and teachers.
