This project will be related to "travelling in time", not literally, but figuratively. We believe that it's important to know about the places we are from, to know the history and the cultural heritage in order to understand how they define us. Thanks to this knowledge we’ll be able to create the better future for all of us. The idea of analysing the history of our region and exploring our cultural heritage basing our research on interviews with our great-grandparents, grandparents and the oldest inhabitants of our cities/towns, seems very attractive and appealing to us. Listening to their stories, tuning into their adventires and experience, is like time travels for us. Our students will definitely find these journeys in time interesting and it’ll be a nice and fun way of learning the history, about different sights, different customs, traditions, celebrations etc. that the former generations had first-hand, that is from their account.
