About
Who are we?
PNPU is one of the oldest universities in Ukraine. Established in 1914, it is located in the historical center of Poltava (central Ukraine). The university has seven faculties, with over 5,000 students in different academic levels: Bachelor, Master, and PhD. At PNPU, students can specialize in classical science or teacher training, later allowing them to teach at secondary schools or higher educational institutions. At PNPU, we strive to provide our students with the best learning experience and comfortable educational environment possible.
As of now, there are more than 60 international partnership agreements between PNPU and higher educational establishments, research institutions, and scientific societies in Europe, Asia, and the U.S. Within the framework of Erasmus+ programme our students have the opportunity to have an exchange semester at European universities (Denmark, Estonia, Lithuania, Germany, Croatia). Our teachers have access to academic mobility programs and participate in joint conferences, teach courses, hold workshops, and do internships abroad (Denmark, Sweden, Estonia).
