I have been a Special Education teacher for 32 years. I started as a primary school teacher and, because difference is important to me, I decided to study to try to reach these children that we have in the classroom and they don't learn like the others. At the moment I work in a primary school. We are located in a beautiful area between the ria and the ocean, in a fishing and agricultural area on the coast of Portugal, near Aveiro. I have participated in the past in 2 different Comenius projects with other schools in Europe. We would like to get involved in projects about European cultures, the sea, gastronomy, traditional games where we can include all our children.
