Hello!
My name is Joke Borra, and foreign languages, cultures, and music are my great passions. I studied French-Spanish Language and Literature at Ghent University, and also Portuguese and Italian. Naturally, I learned Dutch, English, and German during secondary school.

Music has always been a passion of mine — singing in ensembles, playing flute and piano. Leading a children's choir and guiding a singing group were huge passions for me, although I've had to put those aside a bit due to my young children :)

As a child, I adored language camps, and until a few years ago, I was active as a teacher and animator in such language programs for preschoolers, elementary school children, and students up to 18 years old.

I also love traveling... Making connections, daring to learn and speak a language... is just so enjoyable.

That's why I enjoy making contacts with other teachers, not just to communicate among ourselves, but also to facilitate communication among our students, perhaps even letting them meet each other, etc. I am open to suggestions!

Currently, I am particularly interested in contacts for group mobilities for our students aged 15-18 and job shadowing for my colleagues.

The objectives of our accreditation are = general well-being, European citizenship, and a focus on talent.
