About my career: I am an EFL/ESL teacher (over 10 years in upper secondary school at the beginning of my career, then 10 years in primary school for bilingual education as an English teacher, and then back again to upper secondary school) with a strong expertise in bilingual education 100%CLIL in primary school, where I switched to promote bilingualism since primary ages, a theme I strongly support. I am a CLIL and technoCLIL teacher trainer too.
After leading the IBI/BEI project in Italy, I started a new bilingual education project mixed both with CLIL and technoCLIL and with BYOD, also due to the fact I am one of the 20 teachers involved in the COMPANION Action Research (about the new CEFR descriptors) together with MIUR (Italian Ministry of Education) and INDIRE (Italian Agency of Research) in another school. My aim is to promote bilingual education since primary ages all over Italy and abroad, as well as creating suitable environments for learning the language with an active and enthusiastic approach.
After 10 years' engagement in primary school for promotion English language through bilingual education, I decided to go back to Upper Secondary school and continue working on Erasmus+ projects, CLIL and technoCLIL, adding my expertise in bilingual education teaching.
Motivation is the key word in my way of teaching: each student can fly high if we, as teachers, can discover our students' abilities.
Teacher (ELT/ESL) and musician, I play bass guitar and I teach English and the disciplines in English language in a Primary School. My students call me Miss Angela, in the musical world they also call me Sin (remember Paradise Lost by Milton?). I am also one of the bass players for Rockin'1000, the biggest rock band on earth.
